Today our hearts are heavy as we remember and honor the incredible woman who started Montessori in Jonesboro, Mrs. Rosalie Barber. Her vision, love for children, and dedication to education created a legacy that has touched generations of families in our community.

Her influence will continue to live on in every classroom, every teacher, and every child whose life has been shaped by Montessori.

We are praying for her family, friends, and all who loved her. May they find comfort in knowing the beautiful impact she made will never be forgotten. ❤️

We had a little St. Patrick’s Day magic at Montessori today! 🍀✨

Our students were on a mission to catch a sneaky leprechaun and get her gold and while she managed to slip away again, she did leave behind a little treasure! 💛 We found a piece of gold, enjoyed a sweet treat, and even learned a fun new dance from Tiny TatorToes McCrackin (what a character! 😂🎶).

We’re pretty sure she knew we were getting close this year…so watch out, Tiny TatorToes…we’ll be extra ready for you next year!!🍀💚

The Red House has been working together and working hard! ❤️

There is so much fun and learning happening each day. From hands-on activities to teamwork and problem-solving, our students are growing in confidence and independence.

The Montessori White House has been hard at it! February absolutely flew by, but the learning definitely did not.

Now we’re on to March and excited about what it will bring! ☘️We can’t wait to see even more growth, confidence, and sweet moments of discovery in the weeks ahead. ☘️🌈🌷

Using tongs helps strengthen hand muscles, build fine motor skills, and develop hand-eye coordination. These are all essential foundations that later support pencil grip, control, and early writing skills. ✍️

What may look like simple play is actually purposeful work that prepares our toddlers for future success, one squeeze at a time. We are so proud of how carefully and confidently they’re learning! 💛
