Westside Elementary is honored to receive a $3,500 grant from Ag for Autism to support improvements to our playground. This funding will help us create a more inclusive play environment where all students can learn, explore, and play together.

We are incredibly grateful to Ag for Autism for investing in our students and helping us build opportunities for every child to thrive!

Congratulations to Westside High School students Layni Boggs and Kaydence Garland on being selected as 2026 Cooperative Youth Tour delegates. We wish them a wonderful week in Washington, D.C. as they take part in this outstanding leadership opportunity! ❤️🤍

At last night's School Board meeting, we recognized two outstanding members of the Westside family:

Ty Marshall Eldridge, an 8th grade student, has qualified for the 2026 National Junior High Finals Rodeo in roping and will compete in Guthrie, Oklahoma, later this month.

Tammy McEntire, Westside's Dyslexia Program Coordinator, was recognized as the NEA Premier Magazine School Staff Member of the Year for her dedication and service to students.

Congratulations to both Ty and Mrs. McEntire! It's always a great day to be a Warrior! ❤️🤍

Tonight, the Westside Alumni Association treated our School Board members to dinner. We are grateful for their generosity and ongoing commitment to supporting Westside Schools. Thank you for investing in the people who help guide and serve our district.

5-Day To-Go Meals Update

We are excited to see so many families taking advantage of our 5-Day To-Go Meal Program!

The form is now open for meal pickup on Monday, June 22. As a reminder, meals are prepared and packaged based on the requests received each week. To help our Food Service staff plan accurately and serve families efficiently, please only complete the form if you intend to pick up your meals.

Meal pickup is every Monday from 9:30-10:30 a.m. at the Westside Middle School rear entrance.

The 2026-2027 Westside FFA Officer Team had a great time at Week 1 of the Arkansas Leadership Conference at Camp Couchdale!! Students began brainstorming big ideas to bring home to our chapter, workshopped their leadership skills, participated in community service, and bonded as a team.

Westside FFA President Hannah Guerin served as the Emcee at the banquet with over 200 members, advisors, and guests present. She was also recognized as an outstanding camper by State Officer, NW District Vice President, Ben Holland.

Hannah Guerin, Grant Kimberling, Cali Kirby, and Addison Denton all participated in the opportunity to present FFA Opening and Closing Ceremonies at meals for 180+ members, advisors, and guests.

We’ve got a great team this year already full of big ideas, we can’t wait to see what they accomplish! ❤️🤍

Several WHS AFJROTC cadets spent part of their summer break volunteering at NEA Food Bank packing event today. We greatly appreciate their willingness to serve our community. ❤️🤍

A perfect summer day for our WES Summer Care students! Thank you to Jonesboro Parks & Recreation for providing such a fantastic facility for our students to enjoy. We had a great day making memories at Parker Park Water Park! ❤️🤍
