EAST at Nettleton STEAM Intermediate

One of our favorite events of the year!! Touch A Truck!

We had a great time working with EAST at Nettleton STEAM Elementary to get ready for Touch A Truck! We can’t wait to see everyone Saturday!

Thank you to these local restaurants that donated crayons for Touch A Truck! We hope to see everyone there on Saturday! 🚜🚑🚔🚚

We were so excited to 3D print letters and matching objects for Mrs. Rainwater to take to the Rainwater Academy in Uganda! 🇺🇬

Our students worked hard on this project, starting prints before school and checking on them throughout the day to keep everything running and finished in time for the trip.

A big thank you to Mrs. Huffer, Mrs. Smith, and Mrs. Neira for jumping in to help us complete the collection.

And thank you to Mrs. Rainwater for giving our students this opportunity to learn and be part of something meaningful. We are so grateful to play a small role in supporting the Rainwater Academy!

Throwback to EAST Conference 2021 and 2022! Most of these outstanding students are now attending EAST Conference with EAST at Nettleton! 🖤💛

Student growth was our #1 focus this year, so we knew exactly what we wanted our Founder's video to show! Thank you to all of the community partners and school staff that support what we do in EAST!

Congratulations to all of my students who put an incredible amount of time and energy into their projects. Also, a big shoutout to all of the students who worked on the Founder's video submission while juggling Beta, classwork, their EAST projects, and a snowstorm. 😆

Our hygiene closet is desperately low. The hygiene closet provides supplies like chapstick, deodorant, toothbrushes, emergency hair supplies, etc. to all of our STEAMi students.

The highest needs right now are deodorant, hair brushes, toothpaste, shampoo, and conditioner, but all hygiene items are appreciated!!

We have a donor's choose grant set up and we also have an Amazon Wishlist, that will ship supplies directly to us.
