What a week it has been! We had our VPA Violin Spring concert at school this week to showcase what we have worked so hard on all year. I was very proud of my students for so many reasons. Their musicianship was amazing- they listened to each other, watched for cues, and followed my lead. Guests were very complimentary and that always means a lot to me♥️
Support from our violin families is incredible!
But I have to say the greatest compliment to me was a guest who came up to me after the concert and told me that she was so impressed with how the students treated each other- how they were attentive and respectful,and how they cheered on their fellow violinists throughout the show. That really spoke to me because we talk a lot about that in class and now I know they really do listen 🥰
We ended the week with Krispy Kreme donuts for 80 students 🍩🍩🍩
As always, thankful for my husband who accompanies us for every event! He volunteers so much of his time to VPA in so many ways!
Blessed to have the job I have and to spend time with such great little humans every week. I do not take it for granted! 🖤🎻💛
