Congratulations to Dr. Shannon Lewis as he continues his journey through Phase 2 of the Master Principal Program! This phase focuses on turning leadership learning into action through best practices, effective systems, managing change, and leading people.

Dr. Lewis is pictured with renowned educational leader Pete Hall, whose work has inspired school leaders across the country.

We are incredibly proud of Dr. Lewis’s commitment to growing as a leader so that students, teachers, and schools can continue to thrive. The best leaders are lifelong learners, and Dr. Lewis is a wonderful example of that! 👏🏾🎉

We were honored to welcome our partners from Midwest Village and Annie Camp Junior High to our school today! They presented Dr. Lewis with a special school shirt, and we are grateful for this wonderful partnership. We look forward to continuing to work together and are excited for a great new school year ahead!

Despite the conclusion of the academic year, Success has initiated a comprehensive mentorship program designed to support the holistic development of each child, in collaboration with Whole Youth Services in Jonesboro.

Success Academy would like to extend a heartfelt THANK YOU to Fisher Street Community in Action for sponsoring an Ice Cream Social honoring the winners of our 2026 Black History Timeline Living Museum Competition.

The celebration was a wonderful success, and our students were excited to wait until spring so they could enjoy this special event outdoors together. Opportunities like these create lasting memories and celebrate the hard work, creativity, and excellence of our students.

We are truly grateful for Fisher Street Community in Action’s continued support and investment in the students of Success Academy and the families of Jonesboro. Their dedication to creating positive opportunities for youth and strengthening our community does not go unnoticed.

We also encourage everyone to go out and support their upcoming Fish Fry this week on May 16, 2026, beginning at 11 AM at 315 N. Allis in Jonesboro (across from Fisher Street United Methodist Church)! 🐟🍽️

Organizations like Fisher Street Community in Action are helping build stronger families, healthier communities, and meaningful opportunities for connection, community building, and social-emotional wellness for the children and families of Jonesboro. This past week has been a week of celebration for our Success seniors. First on Wednesday, WYS sponsored a Senior luncheon with an inspirational message from State Representative Tobar. Then on Friday and Saturday they walked the stage to receive their diplomas and prepare to walk into the world to continue their SUCCESSful journey. CONGRATULATIONS TO ALL OUR SENIORS!
