We are celebrating a double whammy with our current FOA Exhibit Artist, Ashley Mooney!! 👏👏🎉

Not only will her beautiful work be featured and available for sale in the Forum lobby this month, but she recently completed a traffic signal cabinet as part of the FOA Public Art Commission and City of Jonesboro's ongoing beautification project. Be sure to go check it out at the corner of Main/Burke and definitely stop by the Forum anytime in August during business hours to view her collection of wall art, jewelry , and clay pieces. More about Ashley: "I moved from Texas to Jonesboro two years ago after graduating from Harding University, and I am now a Graphic Designer & Account Manager at The Polish Agency! As a lifelong artist, I've made it my goal to learn any and everything that strikes my fancy. I do not limit myself to any one medium, but ebb and flow between some things I've done for my whole life (such as sewing or jewelry making) and others that I have limited practice with or have always wanted to try, which has recently included rug tufting and acrylic painting. I feel most attuned to 3D mediums, but will achieve any project that I set out to complete, no matter the kind. I hope you enjoy my art!" 🤩

We can't let this wildly fun weekend pass by without an extra special thanks to this creative crew! They wrangled a stage full of 7-11 year olds for the past two weeks teaching them everything they needed to know, making sure they didn't lose their costumes, and had plenty of laughs along the way. They are the real MVPs!!

From our Tech Team campers rocking it behind the scenes, to our little Jungle Book campers' adorable art displays in the lobby, all the way to our Young Artist performers entertaining us on stage....this has been a weekend full of fun and creativity and we are so grateful for it. 💚
