Tuesday, March 15 will be our awards night and alumni games at St. Paul (1009 W. Kem Rd. in Marion). We'll do quick awards starting at 5:30, V girls will play alumni at 6 and V boys will play at 7. Please join TKA for their homecoming Varsity Girls and Varsity Boys games/ senior night this coming Friday, January 28th at St. Paul Gym (1009W Kem Rd in Marion). Games begin at 5:30pm. Face painting will be hosted by student council, cost is $1.00. There will be lots of yummy concessions. We encourage alumni, teachers and staff, TKA students and families to please join us in a time of celebration and community.

This Thursday night's home varsity girls and varsity boys basketball games will be Military Appreciation Night. All current and former military personnel will have free admission, a free item from the concession stand, and we will honor them at halftime of the games. Our players will be wearing National Guard uniforms at the event, and Aaron Walker (a former King's Academy student and current military recruiter) will be available to talk about careers in the military and what it has to offer.

Please come out to support the teams and honor our servicemen and women. Games begin at 5 PM at 1009 W Kem Rd. in Marion with varsity girls, and varsity boys will immediately follow. The cost of admission for all home games is $4 for adults and $2 for students ($10 max per family).

Junior Cyrus Myers broke the school record last week with 11 3's in a game! Tonight he scored his 1000th career point!

Due to COVID, the Columbus Christian School Holiday Hoops tournament was canceled, so King's Academy hosted the tournament at St. Paul's Bennett gym in Marion from12/28-12/29.

Five teams participated: Living Water Marlins (Avon), Lighthouse Christian Academy (Bloomington), Christian Academy of Madison (Madison), Columbus Hawks (Columbus), and The King's Academy (Jonesboro).

During the tournament, King's Academy's Taziah Moore, senior, scored his career 1000th point during Monday's win over Lighthouse Christian Academy. Additionally, Cyrus Myers, junior, scored game high 36 points and Hudson Fry, sophomore, scored 20 (career highs for both players) in a 75-72 double overtime win over Columbus Hawks on Tuesday. The King's Academy's overall record is now 9-2 for the season.

Tournament results:
1st place - Christian Academy of Madison (3-1 record)
2nd place - King's Academy (3-1 record)
3rd place - Columbus Hawks (2-2)
4th place - Living Water Marlins (1-3)
5th place - Lighthouse Christian Academy (1-3)

These three earned their varsity letters for basketball this year, but they missed the opportunity to be celebrated at an awards ceremony! If you see them or want to message them, feel free to congratulate them: Cyrus Myers, Levi Schuiteman, & Tyler Griffin! Way to go!

PLEASE join us for our homecoming basketball games & senior recognition this Friday February 7th!!

So many fun things planned!
YOU have the chance to help us raise money for next year's high schools Servant Safari trip at the homecoming game. Mr. Dr. Stuard Sir has volunteered to be taped up!! Bring $$ and purchase duct tape at the game to help us wrap him up during homecoming!!

The first home basketball game is Friday Night! Come to St. Paul gym in Marion (1009 W. Kem Rd.) and support our JV Boys at 5 and Varsity Boys at 6:30. Admission is $4 for adults and $2 for students.

Calling all alumni!!! You have to remember what it was like back in the day to have former King's people come back to see each one another and have fun with you!

So . . . come have fun playing soccer with us! Alumni vs kids on Saturday, October 19 at 10 AM at Ballard Fields in Marion. It will be a great time to see old friends and celebrate a great season with us! Great night tonight! Soccer went 7-0 vs Wabash Metro Rage and volleyball beat Legacy Christian 3-0! Way to go!
