Founded in 2016, BPW at A-State is a local organization of the Arkansas Federation of Business & Professional Women.
Business & Professional Women, founded in 1919, promotes equity for all women in the workplace through advocacy, education and information. The organization focuses on women's issues and promotes equality, removing barriers and discrimination based on sex and promotes legislation that would insure civil rights for all.

People need to understand, Business and professional women is not destined for creating rift between Man and woman. Also not intended for Gender equality, neither acquiring a physical strength like Man but obtaining equal opportunities at every work places and equally paid like a man does.
