Nettleton Families please read this update from Arkansas Department of Human Services

IMPORTANT UPDATE:

The Arkansas Department of Human Services will require all Summer EBT recipients to reset the PIN numbers associated with their cards in response to reports of thefts of these benefits from out-of-state scammers.

Eligible families should reset their PINs through the EBT call line at 1-800-997-9999 or through the online portal linked at ar.gov/summerebt effective immediately. The cards will not work until this additional step has been completed in order to prevent additional fraudulent activity.

As we wrap up the 2025-2026 school year, we are incredibly proud of everything our Food Service team accomplished! This year, we served over 800,000 meals with a 9.95% increase in participation — an amazing achievement for our department and district.

Throughout the year, we implemented new procedures, moved staff into new roles, trained and cross-trained team members, and continued working together to better serve our students. We also introduced new menu items that students absolutely loved, and we are so proud of how strong we finished the year!

Summer feeding begins June 1st, and we are excited to continue serving Nettleton students and our community throughout the summer months.

While students and staff enjoy a well-deserved break, our department will already be hard at work preparing for next year. We are excited about the plans ahead and cannot wait to share what’s coming for the 2026-2027 school year!

Nettleton is once again stepping up this summer to make sure no child goes hungry.

The district’s summer feeding program officially begins Monday, June 1, and will provide free meals to anyone 18 years old or younger at two locations.

No registration is required, and students do not have to attend NPS to participate.
