One more for today. Training noteā€¦Iā€™ve been doing all my dry-fire with an occluded dot. Started the match today occluded and shot terrible on the first stage. Removed the tape and all was better after that. My eyes donā€™t converge perfectly and I often see a noticeable horizontal shift in my groups. Iā€™ll continue to do dryfire occluded to ensure a hard target focus, but will NOT do it again in a match!

Hybrid steel match in Copperas Cove. These are a ton of fun and if youā€™ve never tried it, youā€™re missing out. You donā€™t need a fancy gun to shoot these either. Bring your carry gun and a few extra magazines.

Well, hereā€™s a firstā€¦signed up with TAGG Rescue to foster this Great Pyrenees. Brought this young boy home today. Heā€™s been in a shelter for a while and now gets to hang out with us. Weā€™ll slowly introduce him to our other two and see where things go. Super nice pup. Got to love the sheepdogsā€¦theyā€™re the best.
