I picked up the DAA Auto Case Sorter and hooked it up to my Dillon 650. .380 brass mixed in becomes a real pain when I’m loading on the RL1100. The case sorter works very well (so far) at rejecting anything other than 9mm (.380, 38 super, etc). I then do a second run in the tumbler to clean primer pockets and give a good shine. The prep work makes actual loading so much easier.

For all the naysayers…hitting A/C steel at 90 & 100 yards isn’t that hard! This was the second time this young guy was out for training. Proper application of the fundamentals and some basic understanding of ballistics is all it takes…and some coaching from a good instructor.

We’ve had Al for about 6 weeks. If you know someone that would be interested in adopting him, please pass along.

Same drill I did a couple months ago, but from the target’s perspective. 10 yard walk back drill, but without the audible feedback of a “hit” on steel. Vision wasn’t great today. I was struggling to focus at the longer distances.

Nice to enjoy the simple things at the end of the day.
