SENIORS! 🎓💛🖤 You don’t want to miss this!

📣ATTENTION CLASS OF 2027📣
Senior parking spots go on sale on MONDAY, JULY 27th!! Painted spot permits cost $50 and can be purchased in the NHS front office, Monday-Thursday, 8am-3pm before the first day of school. All artwork must be approved before painting can begin. Read the guidelines below closely. To purchase a permit you must provide your driver’s license #, license plate #, and auto insurance information.
**Regular parking permits for all other grades and seniors who do not wish to paint will be available at Open House for $10. All student drivers parking on the NHS campus MUST have a permit for the student lot.

🚧DUE TO PENDING CONSTRUCTION:
Senior spots will be moving to the back of the student parking lot in preparation for the construction of the Nettleton Arena. This guarantees your spot will not be moved or covered once construction begins. Senior Row will be spots 203-300. Pardon our construction while we grow!

YOU CANNOT START PAINTING UNTIL YOU RECEIVE AN APPROVAL EMAIL.

💲PAINT & SUPPLIES ARE NOT INCLUDED IN THE COST OF THE PERMIT

🎨PRO TIPS FOR SUCCESS & SHOPPING LIST
-use ANY type of latex paint (inexpensive paint recommended)
-seal your spot with clear spray cover/sealant
-roller brushes, roller extension, and a variety of inexpensive paint brush sizes (avoid foam brushes)
-paint trays
-painters tape
-sidewalk chalk to sketch design
-inexpensive plastic drop clothes or table covers to put under paint cans
-remove debris from your spot first with outdoor broom and/or blower
-trash bags
-cover your entire spot with your primary color first as a primer coat (don't worry about buying primer); this will ultimately save paint
-do not cover the parking spot number; it is required to be visible
-allow for plenty of time; painting a spot can be a multi-day project as you allow layers to dry
-It's hot! Bring plenty of water, some music, a couple lawn chairs, and fans if you've got them! Have a great time, and remember that you're making memories!
