We played an outdoor game during our meeting today, and we must give a shout-out for Josselyn, Arra, and Peyton for helping to facilitate the game in any way they could--giving instruction and encouragement the whole way through AND making sure each grade level got back to their hallway at the end.

Parents and friends, Manawanui is incredibly fortunate in our membership. This 6th-grade team--our captain Hudson, our lieutenant Kai, and their fellow 6th-grade scholars such as Genesis, Khylie, Camila, Karter, and those mentioned above, have worked together all year long--in an unprecedented manner--to bring good things our way.

We have maintained second place in points all year long, had great success at House-a-ween for our performance, had a terrific 2nd Annual Anti-Bullying Bash, played some epic tug-of-war, built record-breaking towers in our annual STEM tower challenge, and more. As we get closer to May, I personally have started to feel the sadness that letting them go will bring, but, as they grow and move triumphantly on to junior high, I am also looking forward to this year's 5th graders moving up!! I have been **repeatedly** impressed with many of them from when they joined us in 3rd grade, and I have great expectations of what is to come!
