*Favorite thing about NYITCOM-AR: “Coming from a large city, I like the tranquility of being in a small town. I also love my classmates. Every single one of them is incredible in their own unique way.”

Episode six of ✨The Ambassador✨is sure to be a hit! Today’s Student Ambassador: David Mathews
~
*Why Medicine: “Prior to medical school, I worked many years in the corporate world but felt disconnected from my community and unfulfilled as a person. Medicine, however, offers me the opportunity to embrace my community to help patients improve their own health and livestyle... And this gives me great joy.”
*Favorite thing about NYITCOM-AR: “The amazing community of fellow students and faculty.”
*Best advice for incoming students & 1st Years: “Set a daily schedule that includes three balanced meals, 30-45 mins of moderate-strenuous exercise, and (at least) 7 house of sleep a night and stick to it! Your strength and health are paramount to achieving success in medical school. Oh, and get yourself a second monitor... Life saver!”
