Due to the potential for severe weather tomorrow, we’ve made the decision to reschedule EAST Night Out to ensure everyone’s safety. This was not a decision we made lightly, but after consulting with our trusted local meteorology team, we believe it’s the best choice for our families.

📅 **New Date:** May 13th
⏰ **Time:** 6:00–7:30 PM

We sincerely appreciate your understanding and flexibility, and we look forward to seeing everyone on the new date for a great evening together!

Please help us spread the word by sharing this update.

We are soooo proud of this EAST team!!!! 🎉

Good morning! ☀️

We had a fun and exciting start to the day with our amazing EAST at International Studies Magnet School girls sharing all about their East Project Swag Tags! Students can earn these awesome keychains as VIP Students of the Month and through our Birthday Book program. We can’t wait to see even more creative swag tags coming soon!

We also celebrated Krewe for an incredible achievement—at World Championship for Trap Shooting! 🎯 He recently earned the Singles Championship with an impressive 92/100. We loved recognizing him this morning—way to go, Krewe!

It's a great day at IS!

These students had the opportunity to meet with meteorologist Ryan Vaughn today to present their EAST project! These students have worked to map public tornado shelters in Jonesboro to make them more accessible and visible for the community.

During their meeting, they received valuable feedback on ways to improve their map and explored additional resources to strengthen their project even further. Experiences like this are what make EAST so impactful…real-world learning with real-world experts!!!!

We are so proud of this incredible team and their dedication to a project that truly matters. A big thank you to Mr. Ryan for sharing his time and expertise to support our students!
