First Day Jitters… and Jitter Juice! 🍇✨

Today Ms. Savannahs Class read the story First Day Jitters and talked about all the different feelings that can come with starting something new. They learned that “the jitters” are another way to describe feeling nervous or anxious, and that those feelings can sometimes feel like little bubbles in your tummy!

To make the story even more fun, they tried their very own Jitter Juice made with sparkling grape juice so everyone could experience those bubbly “jitters” in a different way.

The verdict? Their class was definitely split. Some friends loved the Jitter Juice, while others decided it wasn’t their favorite! 😂 Either way, it made for a fun activity and a great conversation about feelings. We’re so proud of our sweet students for being brave and having a wonderful first day! 💙🍎

Today was all about rolling up our sleeves and getting Journey Kids Village ready for an amazing school year. 🧹🪣 From deep cleaning classrooms and organizing supplies to adding the finishing touches, our team has been hard at work creating a clean, safe, and welcoming space for every child.

It may not be the glamorous part of preschool, but it’s one of the most important! Every classroom is being prepared with love so our JKV families can walk through the doors on Monday feeling excited for the year ahead. 💙💛
