Picture Day is August 26th at Westview, Crabtree Photography offers two convenient ways to place your student's order.

1 - Place your order securely online by following the link below.

You will receive an email confirmation within 24 hours of placing your order.

2 - Cash, check or money order enclosed in the paper order form that will be coming home with your student.

Please have your order form filled out completely, with exact payment sealed in the envelope. The student will turn this in on photo day.

Rain or Shine 🌧️❤️

A huge THANK YOU to our incredible staff members who stood out in the pouring rain this week to welcome our students into school!

Even when the weather wasn’t cooperating this week and our arrival locations weren’t exactly ideal, our staff showed up with smiles, umbrellas, helping hands, and a commitment to making sure our students got inside safely and felt welcomed.

Your willingness to step outside, get soaked, and go the extra mile does not go unnoticed. We appreciate the care, flexibility, and dedication you show our students every single day.

🔎✨ Discovery Detectives are on the case! ✨🔎
Preschool kicked off our new Discovery Detectives special today!
Ms. Fugate visits our classrooms to help students use language, connection, and curiosity to build early literacy and school-readiness skills, all while exploring the world around them.
Today, she joined Miss Worrell’s class with her Guess the Object Bag! 🕵️‍♀️ Students used their senses and their words to describe classroom objects by their texture, shape, weight, and other clues before making their guesses.
They weren’t just playing a guessing game, they were building vocabulary, practicing descriptive language, making connections, and learning how to communicate what they notice. 🧠💬
Way to make learning an adventure, Ms. Fugate! We can’t wait to see what our Discovery Detectives investigate next! 🔎 The National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC)

Mississinewa Community School Corporation will operate on a two-hour delay on Thursday, August 13, due to flooding and current road conditions throughout our district.

At this time, five of our bus routes are experiencing areas of significant flooding, creating concerns about our ability to safely reach all scheduled bus stops.

The two-hour delay will allow us to wait until daylight and reassess road conditions Thursday morning. Our Transportation Department will evaluate the affected routes to determine whether our buses can safely travel the roads and reach each stop.

The safety of our students and staff is our highest priority.

If conditions do not improve or we determine that buses cannot safely complete their routes, we will communicate any additional changes as early as possible Thursday morning.

Thank you for your patience and understanding as we prioritize the safety of our students and staff.

Arrival & Dismissal Locations

Door 8 (Preschool Entrance):

Miss Cruz
Miss Elkins
Mrs. Hurt
Mrs. Coffee
Miss Worrell

Families in these classrooms will use Door 8 for both arrival and dismissal. They will walk their child to the classroom door to sign in and out just like the video.

Mrs. Smith & Mrs. Magers-Brooks' Classrooms:

Please park in the reserved parking spaces in the North parking lot.
Enter from 6th Street.
During preschool arrival and dismissal, traffic will be stopped to allow families to safely use the crosswalk. Please hold your child's hand as you walk to the building.
A teacher or paraprofessional will greet you at Door 7 (Bus Doors) and assist with signing your child in using the Playground app (just like the video).
