Greetings,

On Saturday, August 20, from 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., the Homeless Education Department of Clayton County Public Schools, in collaboration with the Level Up Cycling Club, will host its First Annual Resource Fair, Level Up Cycle for a Cause 2022. The event is being held to support students and their families that qualify under the McKinney-Vento Homeless Assistance Act.

The fair, which will be held at the Morrow Annex, located at 2260 Old Rex Morrow Road in Morrow, will feature educational resources, housing resources, healthcare and childcare resources, free food giveaways, and much more.

READ ALL ABOUT IT!!!!!!!! RISING 6th Grade Scholars!!!!!

MDRSOTA Summer Bridge Program

M.D. Roberts School of the Arts will host a Rising 6th Grade Summer Bridge Program for all incoming sixth grade students for the 2022-2023 school year. The program will take place on Monday, July 18 to Wednesday, July 20th from 9:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. at M.D. Roberts School of the Arts. This 3-day program will allow rising 6th grade students who will attend MDRSOTA an opportunity to experience life as a middle school student and learn the RAMS way. Transportation will not be provided. Students may bring a snack.

However, if you wish to purchase a Summer Bridge T-shirt please follow the instructions on the form. The t-shirt cost is $10.00 each CASH ONLY and payments must be made in person in the office at M. As we move to make Clayton County Schools a place where we Thrive academically, socially, and emotionally the Thrive Zone has been established in our school district. In CCPS we want to connect our families and community to our efforts. Clayton County Public Schools Department of Student Behavioral Health will host the 2nd Annual Family Movie Night to support this effort. We are inviting scholars to bring family and friends to a Drive in Movie and night of fun. We will have a DJ, 360 photo booth, food, art stations, and more! Beat us there!!!!!!

Clayton County Public Schools (CCPS) is excited to announce our final 2021-2022 Parent and Community Engagement Meeting for Social-Emotional Learning (SEL). The meeting will be held virtually on Wednesday, March 16, 2022 at 6:00 p.m. Participants will hear from Kristen Hopkins, Chief Executive Officer and author of Dangers of the Mind, Account Executive Justin Kiaku, and Success Coach Frances Lee. This will be an evening you don't want to miss.
