Junior high computer science students learned to program an ai bot to play Rocket League and today we’re having a tournament to see whose is the best.

St. Bernards invited area robotics classes to try out their new surgical robot today. We all really appreciated the opportunity to see and test out the new robot!

Our Robotics Year 1 classes have been going through a curriculum created by Skillquest to use Python to program a Rocket League bot. This week we are having a tournament to see who has programmed the best bot.

Las week in Robotics I, students wired the Arduino circuit board with lights and a speaker to create a score board. Then they connected a light sensor and cup to make a basket. They used a ping pong ball to shoot with and we had a competition to see which team could make the most baskets in 6 minutes from about 6 feet away. The highest number was 13.

Today, we're working with Arduino circuit boards. We're wiring them to be a scoreboard for some ping pong basketball shootout competitions later in the week.
