Sam Messinides, Molecular Biosciences PhD student in the Gustafson Lab, gave an oral presentation at the International Wildlife Congress in Lillehammer, Norway on Sept 1, 2025. This research and travel was funded through NSF NRT and NSF BRC awards, and through the Beck College of Sciences & Mathematics Molecular Biosciences Graduate Program.

Bishnu Joshi is a Ph.D. student in the Lorence Laboratory, originally from Nepal. He brings a wealth of expertise to his research, particularly in rice transformation and CRISPR-Cas technology. Bishnu holds a Master’s degree from the University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff, where he laid the foundation for his current research.
