Good Infographic to understand all that IDHS does for residents of Illinois

This year’s work reflects the dedication of IDHS staff and partners across Illinois – protecting basic needs, strengthening safety, supporting families, and expanding opportunity.

In 2025, IDHS continued showing up for people across the state, from mental health and recovery to housing, public safety, and basic needs – all rooted in compassion, accessibility, responsibility, and equity for those we serve.

Thank you to our staff, partners, and communities for the progress we drive together.
