in hopes that people will truly see a disability as a state of mind. We provide disability awareness and support to people with disabilities on campus and within the community,while also promoting and increasing advocacy among people with disabilities through our meetings and events such as our annual Disability Awareness Day event! Hello All! We have a wonderful event coming up this following Monday from 3-4:30pm! Come down to JJC Main Campus' Events Center to join the Open Gym with the president of JJC and our club! Come experience wheelchair basketball first hand!

Last week we had our event Disability Awareness Day! It was a fantastic turnout and we couldn't be more thankful for all of you who showed up! We had a great time with our panel and our special guests from jjc clubs and our accessibility sports connection:

Did you know today is the signing of the ADA (the Americans with Disabilities Act). It's a momentous day for those with disabilities because this act outlawed discrimination against individuals with disabilities in all public life!
