Our thanks to Homer Tree Service for coming to campus today to remove trees that were damaged during the recent storms in Joliet. Like the Motherhouse steeple, it's bittersweet to see some of our wise old trees coming down... but it's only making way for new sunshine to hit the ground at USF!

One June 10, USF radiation therapy students learned about the increasing use of kilovoltage x-ray therapy for skin cancers. The SkinCure Oncology company utilizes advanced, Image-Guided Superficial Radiation Therapy to deliver curative doses to patients with basal and squamous cell skin cancers. The company invited the students to learn more at its headquarters in Burr Ridge, Illinois, followed by a demonstration at a dermatology clinic in Hinsdale, Illinois. Said program director Leia Levy, "The experience was amazing. We thank the SkinCure Oncology company for hosting our students for a tremendous learning experience for the third year in a row!"

Special thanks to Crowther Roofing & Sheet Metal Inc., longtime supporters of USF, who helped clean up the steeple from the front of the Motherhouse. The hard work of the contractors and employees who have been hustling all week to get the campus back to normal after the storm (especially Maintenance and Safety & Security) is so incredibly appreciated. We are grateful... we are Saints United! Thank you!
