🥕 Charcuterie… for kids? Yes!
At DIY Early Learning Center, snack time is about more than just food — it’s about discovery. Today, the children experienced a colorful charcuterie board filled with healthy bites.
For some, it was their first time trying new flavors — like crunchy yellow peppers 🫑 and sweet pineapple 🍍. Others proudly showed off their love for blueberries 💙 (and even what a “brain freeze” feels like 🧊🤣).
These little moments build:
✨ Confidence to try new things
✨ Fine motor skills & independence
✨ Joy in exploring healthy habits
Every snack is a chance to learn, grow, and giggle together. 💛

At DIY Early Learning Center, we create an environment where play meets learning! Designed to inspire curiosity and growth, we allow children to lead while we guide them. Here, we nurture their interests, providing a safe and enriching space for them to develop valuable life skills.
We understand the sacrifices parents make, and we’re here to support both you and your child. Help your child thrive in an environment that honors their individuality and celebrates their unique journey.
Fire drills are crucial for preparing children to handle the chaos and danger of a fire. These drills help students become familiar with alarm sounds, escape routes, and assembly points, which are vital in a fire emergency. Practicing drills both at school and at home offers a chance to discuss important fire safety tips, such as avoiding hiding during a fire, checking doorknobs for heat before opening doors, and crawling low under smoke. By working together, we can ensure that children understand the importance of taking drills seriously and following instructions, helping them respond calmly in emergencies.
Now, more than ever, there’s a desire to teach young children the value of kindness and compassion. I often combine books with props to create a rich learning experience with my preschoolers.
