Signs of Love at College Church in Wheaton is meeting tomorrow, 8/16, at 3pm! We will have a deaf panel discussion about their experiences in school, good and bad!
Come enjoy some light refreshments and learn and ask your questions.

Also, if you feel led, we are doing a school supply drive for Happy Hands Education Center, the only deaf Christian school in the country. I can bring them to the drive if you have anything to share and I am able to get it sometime before 2pm tomorrow! Hey Everyone! I hope you all are having an amazing summer.

I have had some time open up in my fall semester and I wanted to ask if any of you or your friends would be interested in an online and/or in-person class that focuses on what we need to know as bridges to the deaf community via the church. Currriculum would focus on deaf culture specifically in a church setting and Christ-centered vocabulary. It would also cover how to find DHH people in your community and make your church deaf friendly/accessible. Information would be practical and be able to be applied immediately. This class would be for high school and up. Audience is anyone in the church desiring to be inclusive to the DHH community.

Start watching at the 1 hour 32 minute mark to see what an amazing tribute they made to the deaf community. They acknowledged in front of over 900 women that the deaf community is the most underreached community for Jesus. Then, they surprised me by teaching the signs for a beautiful worship song to all of the audience, and EVERYONE signed the song together!!! It was SO beautiful!!! Worship in two languages at the same time, YES!! 🙌💗🥰😍
