It's time to register for the Chalk the Block 2026’s YOUTH ART COMPETITION on Saturday July 25!

This year’s theme is YESTERYEAR: think vintage, retro, pop culture, history, etc!

Youth artists will get their turn to create artwork on the sidewalks in Uptown Somerset. The competition starts at 7am with judging at 2pm.

Each artist receives:
Kids (5-8 years): Set of Crayola Chalk
Tweens (9-13): Set of Crayola + Small set of Pastels
Teens (14-17): Set of Crayola + Medium set Pastels

🏆 Prizes awarded to 1st, 2nd, & 3rd place in each age group!

🐍 Who knew learning could be this wild? Students at our Westmont and Richland centers met some amazing animal guests from Living Treasures Animal Park and got an up-close look at creatures they don't see every day.

From gentle pets to fascinating animal facts, the visit was packed with excitement, curiosity, and unforgettable memories.
