Congratulations to the WHES May Students of the Month! These amazing students were nominated for showing creativity! They can think outside the box, explore new ideas, and express themselves in imaginative ways. Whether it’s through art, writing, or problem-solving, they spark innovation and joy!

Our first grade students enjoyed an exciting day exploring Living Treasures Animal Park of the Laurel Highlands!

Students discovered a wide variety of animals from around the world and had the chance to observe them up close while learning interesting facts along the way. The day was filled with curiosity, excitement, and plenty of favorite animal moments!

A big thank you to our PTO for sponsoring this field trip so all students could attend at no cost. A fun day of discovery at !

Alumni Luncheon Brings Recent Graduates Back to the Hilltop!

We were excited to welcome back members of the Class of 2024 and Class of 2025 for a special luncheon at the high school! Graduates returned to reconnect with former teachers and staff, share updates on their journeys since graduation, and celebrate their continued connection to the Hilltop. It was great to see familiar faces back in the building and hear about all they’ve been accomplishing. Thank you to everyone who helped organize the event and to our alumni for coming back to !

A huge thank you to our amazing PTO for organizing and sponsoring another fantastic PTO Fun Days! From games and activities to smiles and laughter, our students had an incredible time celebrating the end of the school year.

We are so grateful for the time, energy, and support our PTO provides throughout the year. Thank you for helping create special memories that our students will remember for years to come!

Westmont Hilltop’s second graders recently hosted their “Make a Difference Market” to close out the school year, a hands-on learning experience focused on economics, creativity, and community impact.

Students learned about buyers and sellers, worked in production groups to upcycle materials into unique items, and welcomed families to an open-air market where they sold their creations. After calculating their earnings, students voted on how to give back to the community and chose to split their donation between the Cambria County Library and Stackhouse Park.

We are so proud of their hard work, teamwork, and thoughtful generosity in supporting two valued community organizations!
