🏆 This is your chance to test your skills, gain valuable competition experience, and compete alongside martial artists from across the region.

🥇 Remember, competitors will be matched against others of similar rank, with beginner, intermediate, and advanced divisions to ensure fair competition for everyone.

⭐ All first-place winners in forms competition (in every age division) will advance to compete for a prestigious Grand Champion Trophy in their belt rank category:

🥋 Special Seminar Before the Tournament! 🗡️

The night before the Joe Goss Karate Invitational Tournament, we are excited to host a Korean Sword (Kummooyeh) Seminar taught by Grandmaster Moon Kap Kim.

This is a rare opportunity to learn traditional Korean sword techniques from a highly respected Grandmaster. No previous martial arts or sword experience is necessary, making this seminar perfect for beginners and experienced martial artists alike.

Tonight’s promotions represent years of dedication, discipline, and hard work. Earning a Black Belt is not something that happens overnight, and it’s not something everyone achieves. Many students begin the journey, but only a small percentage stay committed long enough to earn the rank of Cho Dan (1st Degree Black Belt). Even fewer continue pushing forward to reach E Dan (2nd Degree Black Belt).

These students have shown the determination to keep going when things became difficult, the humility to continue learning, and the character that true martial arts training is built upon. Their accomplishments are a reflection not only of their skill, but also of their commitment, attitude, and perseverance both inside and outside the dojang.

We are incredibly proud of each of them and excited to see where their martial arts journey continues to lead. Please join us in congratulating them on this outstanding achievement! 👏
