Netroots Nation 2026: Data and AI
The Netroots Nation Conference was held in Philadelphia this year to coincide with America 250. I attended to network and interview some attendees. One of the things I noticed at Netroots Nation 2026 was the proliferation of Data and AI trainings and exhibitors. They discussed how to write and interpret survey questions and results. They have a nice online data tool showing monthly trends in American's net approval of the economy....

Gas Prices Weakly Predict Trump State Approval
In the post on flu vaccination rates and Trump's 2024 vote, I was asked on reddit what the relationship was between gas prices and Trump's approval rating. As of this writing, the national average for a gallon of regular gas is $4.507. Pennsylvania's is $4.605. California has the highest price at $6.116 while Indiana has the lowest at $3.917....
