Hands For Animals We are a student run organization that is trying to make a difference in the lives of animals and pet owners in our community. Raising money Walking dogs

A club at FM who's goal is to educate the public about pets and proper care and basic knowledge as well as help find homes for the homeless animals in our community. Hoping to help get the homeless animals off of the street and help insure that they get proper care in their homes. We want to try to get more student involvement in the community as well. Students can be involved in many ways Volun

teering time by
. Fostering animals
. Adoption clinics
. Cleaning cages
. Passing on correct information
. Encouraging others to not shop but adopt instead, also to Spay and Neuter Bake sales and toy drives Helping out with events to bring the community and their pets together

We are always looking for new creative ways to get the students and the public involved in the animal care of the community.

With the weather warming up and everyone wanting to get outside now is a great time to bring your pet to the vet and have them checked for heart worm as well as getting them on a preventative medication for heart worm, as well as fleas and ticks! Thank you to all the individuals who have been dropping off donations for the local shelters, We will be visiting James Brennan and hopefully the Regional Animal Shelter as well to distribute these items. Your generosity is greatly appreciated and the animals thank you :)

Come support some of your native wildlife at a " build your own blue bird house" event this Saturday from 10-3 in the large lounge. Build or sponsor a blue bird house for $10 and help preserve a gorgeous native species. Meet with local rehabilitation and conservation groups and learn about the birds in your own back yard!
