Pioneer Ridge Elementary School PTO Welcome to the PRE PTO 💛🐎💙

Want to get more involved, more information, or just connect with us? Check out our links below or send us a message 👇🏻

Pioneer Ridge Elementary opened its doors for the first time in August of 2005. The school houses grades Kindergarten through Fifth Grade. Early in the fall of 2005 student elections were held at Pioneer Ridge to select our first student council. The student council organized a school wide vote for a new school mascot (the stallion) and new school colors (blue and gold).

🚨 THE GREAT STALLION GEAR CLEAN-OUT IS ON! 🐎♻️
Stallion Fam, check out that closet you've been ignoring 👀 The one full of school hoodies your kids outgrew approximately 4.5 seconds after you bought them? The winter coats and boots that suddenly don’t fit? The PRE gear that’s still perfectly good but no longer fits your tiny humans?

✨ IT’S TIME TO PASS IT ON! ✨
We’re teaming up with Mrs. Nelson for a PRE Gear Swap, and we have a BIG goal: FILL THE CAFETERIA during conference nights with FREE school swag and winter gear for our Stallion families 💛💙

Here’s how you can help:
👕 PRE gear or winter clothes your kiddos have outgrown? Send them to school with your student! They can hand donations to their teacher, and we’ll grab them from there.
📦 Prefer a drop-off? You can also drop donations off at the school or in Milliken!
🛍️ Looking for something your family needs? Come shop the swap during conference nights! Everything is FREE for our Stallion families. Take what you need, and leave the rest for another family.

This is what community is all about. Making sure our kids stay warm, sharing our Stallion pride, and helping families get what they need without spending another dollar 🫶

♻️ REDUCE. REUSE. RECYCLE.
💛 PASS IT ON. PAY IT FORWARD.

So go forth and clean out that coat closet, friends! If it no longer fits your kiddo but could make another Stallion smile, we want it! 😂

📣 SHARE THIS POST and help us spread the word. Let's fill that cafeteria!

🚨 CONFERENCE NIGHT DINNER PLANS: HANDLED 🍔🍟

Parents, we know the drill. You’ve been at school conferences, the kids are hungry, everyone’s tired, and the last thing anyone wants to hear is “What’s for dinner?” 😂

GOOD NEWS: We made that decision for you. 🙌
Join us at Freddy’s on Wednesday, October 14, from 5–9 PM for our next Dining for Dollars night! ❤️
📍 Freddy’s Frozen Custard & Steakburgers
4635 Ledge Rock Drive, Johnstown
🍔 Grab dinner.
🍟 Skip the dishes.
💛 Support Pioneer Ridge Elementary PTO

Here’s the thing: we’re keeping fundraising simple this year with just a couple of Dining for Dollars nights and our Stallion Stampede Color Run. That means every single order, every share, and every family who shows up makes a difference 💛🐎💙

So rally the family, text your friends, and make Freddy’s your conference-night dinner stop. Easy peasy, dinner handled, and a little extra love for our SUPER Stallions. We’ll see you there! 👋

Just sitting here thinking about all those delicious carbs, caffeine, and little serotonin boosts from our September Snack Cart 🫶🏻

We love ANY excuse to spoil our SUPER Staff, and thanks to our September Snack Cart sponsor, Back Nine Golf, we were able to bring our staff a whole lot of deliciousness last month ⛳

If you haven’t checked them out yet, take this as your sign to see what they’re all about! A fun night out, something different to do with your people, or just an excuse to get out of the house without someone asking you for a snack every 11 minutes 👀😅

📚✨ Somewhere, a 9-year-old version of you just heard the words “SCHOLASTIC BOOK FAIR.”
And suddenly, you needed a fuzzy diary, the latest Goosebumps chapter books, 12 different holographic bookmarks, and, of course, a new poster for your wall.
You had $10.
You had a 20-item wish list.
And you had already shown your parents the brochure like 50 times.
The world was at your fingertips the second you walked in and saw the most magical sign of all:
SCHOLASTIC BOOK FAIR TODAY!

Now it's time to pass the baton to our kids ✨📚

📚 PRE-BOOK FAIR
🛒 ONLINE: 10/12–10/17
🏫 IN PERSON: 10/15 + 10/16
⏰ 3:30–7:30 PM

Go buy the book.
Get the ridiculous pen.
Live a little.

Our teachers are staying late for conferences, and we want to make sure they’re well-fed while they’re putting in those extra hours for our kids and taking on later conferences to help all of our families find a time that works for them ✨

PTO is covering dinner both nights, but we need a little help from our SUPER families with the two most important food groups:
🥤 Drinks
🍪 Dessert

And listen… we’ve been doing this PTO thing long enough to understand the very real possibility of 17 families showing up with the exact same Costco brownie tray 🫣

So we made a SignUpGenius. Because we love you enough to not let that happen to you 😘

Pick a spot, grab what you’re able to bring, and together we’ll make sure our teachers have a delicious dinner, plenty to drink, and enough dessert to get them through the evening.

Thank you for helping us spoil our teachers while they stay late to support our kids. We sure do PREciate you! 💙🫶🏻💛

Our September Snack Cart just got a whole lot more fun thanks to our friends at Back Nine Golf! ⛳️

They spoiled our PRE staff yesterday, and we are SO grateful for their support!

If you haven’t checked out Back Nine Golf yet, consider this your sign 👀 Where Golf Never Sleeps. There's always a reason to go, and trust us, the kids have just as much fun as the grown-ups👏👏

Thank you, Back Nine Golf, for being such an awesome community sponsor and taking such good care of our staff! 🏌️‍♀️
