October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, a time of year to remember those we have lost to the destructive disease and to amplify ways to prevent it from impacting others.

The best way to detect early stages of breast cancer and improve health outcomes with early treatments are screening methods like mammograms and clinical breast exams. The Cancer Services Program of Fulton, Montgomery, and Schenectady Counties may be able to help if you are having difficulty receiving these potentially life-saving screenings.
