About Us...

Parents as Teachers is a home visiting program that serves families with children from prenatal until they enter kindergarten. Parent Educators provide literacy opportunities and developmentally appropriate activities for parents to do with their children. We also provide information about development centered parenting and family well-being, which includes the topics of attachment, discipline, health, safety, nutrition, sleep, transitions/routines, basic essentials, mental health and wellness, education and employment, physical health of family, childcare/school readiness, relationships, and recreation. Each family receives invitations to group connections, yearly assessments of children, recommendations and connections to resources, and help setting and achieving goals set by the parent and Parent Educator.
