I Will Find You Again!

Lying in bed this morning, dwelling on the day and what life holds ahead of me, I realized I miss you. The thought of reconnecting with you is driving me to find you, wherever life has taken you, I will find you again! Hopefully, you will be reading this and laugh with me as we resume the amazing friendship we used to have! Just know, I have a strong resolve to continue my search until I find you, but I begin this journey with skepticism in finding even a glimpse of you since it has been so long since the journey was filled with joy in the Lord Jesus and the longing to follow Him!

Thinking back to when I started losing connection with you was in 1992, when I entered wedlock and my focus understandingly started to change. Not to make excuses, but I Corinthians chapter seven, verses 8-9 Paul states: 8 But I say to the unmarried and to widows that it is good for them if they remain even as I. 9 But if they do not have self-control, let them marry; for it is better to marry than to burn with passion. Before marring I had lived ten years walking with Jesus, which is where I was able to learn your heart. Satan knew the walk I had with Jesus was special and fought hard to make me stumble by tempting me is so many ways! Thinking back, I was fortunate to have the strength to not succumb to those temptations as I knew it would create incredible guilt and mess with my walk with Christ Jesus. With so much temptation put before me I began praying for a wife so I wouldn’t give in, as women started approaching me naked and stating their intentions of tempting me once they knew I had not been with a woman after finding Jesus ten years previous.

Fall of 1991 God answered my prayer and I met my wife. At first the little time we lost was barely negligible as I focused on my new bride and making a life with her. Married life was a happy time for me which is partially to blame for me not noticing we were starting to drift apart and for that I must apologize! You were not the only one to lose my attention as I spent my time trying to be the biblical husband I was supposed to be which took time away from Jesus just as the word said it would. Jesus has been with me the entire time, supporting me through all life has offered, highs and lows, and this morning is when I realized I need to find you again!

I will find you again!

Our Colorado Senators Bennett and Hickenlooper are jokes as they are playing politics rather than doing what is best for Americans. The budget is not the place to push their partisan politics as they have more than enough time to work these issues out when it doesn't affect American citizens.

I do not know about anyone else, but I am weary of partisan politics where our politicians vote what their party tells them to instead of considering the cause and effects of their decisions.

Everyone I have ever met will agree we need term limits including politicians. Seems like we need to make it happen at the polls since the politicians will not do it.

We should vote out every incumbent for the next ten election cycles or until term limits are in place.

I had a friend message me a video to watch and this started playing right after. I live this and never understood why. At work people don't see me get riled as I already have a line on what the day will bring. When talking with coworkers about how things just work out well for me at work, I let them know I believe I have favor and have never told people I believe I am chosen, but always have known I am. So many things God reveals to me that I have to ask Him "why are You telling me this when You have so many people on the planet You could tell". God's response is always the same as He tells me "You are the one listening" This video brings me a lot of clarity about my life since giving myself over to Jesus in my early twenties! Perhaps this will bring some of you clarity too!

This one is for the men and boys out there! Personal grooming seems so easy yet over the years I have heard of so many fails!
Let's start from the top down!

Washing your hair is not so difficult but finding the right product for your hair becomes a bit of a challenge if you are battling oily hair, dry hair, dandruff, curly hair, thin hair and missing hair! Lol! When you buy hair products read the label and make sure it will do what you need without harming you as so many products now a days have harsh chemicals which you need to be aware of. Try and find all natural products and if the label has ingredients that you do not know what they are Google them and find out! You will notice a pattern as you read on that you can decide what kind of hair style you want but keep it clean!

Clean your ears! Use soap and water on the outside of the ear and don't forget to wash behind them every time you shower or bathe. If you have stuff in your ear, you can spray really warm water in the ear canal to dislodge any debris or wax build up. If you have ear wax issues there are over the counter ear cleaning products available! Do not neglect trimming the excess hair inside and out on your ears as you are not bobcats that look good with ear tufts!

Eyebrows can be a huge issue for guys with the super thick unibrow. I have seen guys that shave between their eyebrows, and it looks just goofy! If your eyebrows are long, you can trim them shorter. If they are thick, you can tweeze them which lasts longer and is not that painful. Even if it is painful, get over it as women go through this to look good for you, so return the favor!

Cleaning your face seems so difficult for some to grasp. If you have acne there are products available to aid in clearing you face up, but nothing replaces eating right and using hot water on a washcloth. I remember when I was in seventh grade I had acne so bad I called it pizza face. I ate too many things filled with fat and the big zit maker, sugar! I went to a dermatologist and he had me stop using soap as he believed the residue left behind was part of the problem. He prescribed washing my face with just a warm washcloth as warm as I could stand it. Turned out he was correct, and my face began clearing up!

Noses are right smack dab in the middle of the view of everyone who looks at you, so nose care is important. Blackheads can be dealt with by washing your nose with a super warm washcloth with no soap. Products to remove blackheads do work and could be a solution to get started getting your nose looking ship shape, but those products do not remove unsightly nose hair! If you are one of those guys who has never even thought about your nose hair, you need to go look in the mirror right now!!! Trim your nose hair before it gets long enough to curl it! DIY nose trimmers are not that expensive, but if you are so tight you squeak when you walk you can resort to small scissors! I see a lot of older guys with nose hair hanging out almost to their top lip and you do not want to be one of those guys!

Shaving!

How should you shave? How often? What kind of facial hair looks good on you? How you want your facial hair to look is up to you and you might give consideration to what your significant other desires.

You can look up different beard styles, you can experiment. If an experiment goes wrong, you can shave it all off and a few days or weeks later you can try again! How you wear your facial hair is a statement of you, so give it some thought and don't forget to keep your facial hair clean!!! If your beard has enough leftovers in it from the last few days, you can shake it in a pot and make soup you need to get some serious help!

When I was younger I shaved by prepping my face with a hot washcloth and then adding shaving cream. Seemed a razor couldn't last a week and a new one was required.

As I have grown older, I find shaving in the shower under the water flow works pretty well but prefer to shave right after getting out of the shower. My beard is prepped to shave and I skip shaving creams and lotions and rinsing my razor with hot water as I shave I can get a tight shave with one bonus! I can use one razor for almost a year before needing to replace it as the shaving creams and soaps dull razors very fast!!!

What you do with your chest and body hair is up to you. However, armpit hair has its place and needs consideration. Armpit hair serves as an air buffer to keep your skin from rubbing on skin which can become sore, but more importantly will make you sweat more. The hair lets air flow and aid in drying your sweat and slowing the production of sweat especially when you are at rest. If you are one of those guys who has armpits with super thick hair, trim it using scissors. You can trim at angles leaving some hair longer and some shorter so it does not appear so bushy. Long armpit hair is not desirable regardless of the thickness, so if you notice your armpit hair sticking out when your arms are at your sides, consider trimming it shorter.

Your back can be your showpiece or your shame! If you have zits all over your back, you need to wash it better. They make long handled brushes just for that purpose and they are not that expensive and readily available.

When showering do not forget to wash your naval, or belly button for those who do not know it is your naval! Use soap and dig all the lint and other debris out every time you shower!

I am not going to spend a lot of time on your business but keep it trimmed to about 1" and if you feel the need to keep things trimmed tight you might consider the hair down there has a purpose too which is called air flow so you do not sweat excessively and get stinky! If you must keep it shaved tight, I recommend wearing cotton briefs to help keep things dry, not boxers or free swinging. Wash yourself daily down there where the sun does not shine as you never know when "you might get in an accident" Lol!!!

Pay attention to your hands and feet. Use soap to wash your feet, yes, between your toes too, every time you shower! Wash your hands when they get dirty! If you have a buildup of callouses on your feet you can sand them off using fine grit sandpaper or with a fine file made for that. Keep your nails trimmed! You might think trimming your toenails can go longer between trimming than your fingernails but consider longer toenails wear holes in sock and bed sheets much faster when not trimmed.

Smelling good, or better yet, not at all requires cleanliness and attention to products you use to control smells. Consider most deodorants have aluminum and other bad for you chemicals it becomes prudent to select healthier products. You do not need deodorants if you stay clean and eat right!

Selecting aftershaves and colognes is again a personal choice you should consider your significant other when selecting. For you single guys, less is more, and cologne is not a substitute for keeping yourself clean.

Last, and most important, brush your teeth, preferably twice daily and use floss!!!

I hope this helps everyone who reads this if only in one of the areas mentioned. People are kind and will often not say anything to you if you stink or your appearance is holding you back, so use this as a guide before someone has to tell you!!! Lol!

I heard someone say the other day that we are made in the likeness and image of God. Sadly, this is not true. Adam was made in the likeness and image of God. Eve was made from Adam's rib. Once Adam and Eve ate from the tree of life giving them the knowledge of right and wrong, good and evil, they were removed from the Garden of Eden.

Cain and able were the sons of two people who no longer were innocent like Adam was when he was created, thus, they were created in the likeness and image of Adam and Eve. When Cain killed Abel, Cain was very much a sinner. The children of Cain were created in the likeness of Cain and his wife.

What we must take away from this is we are all made in the likeness and image of our parents, who are sinners, just as we are. The Old Testament talks about how specific sins comes with a three-generation curse from who sinned.

I have watched people breaking these curses in the name of Jesus. One thing I do know is the Blood of Jesus has power to break these generational curses, and yet people decide to blame their parents or Grandparents for them being sinners.

Thing is, when Jesus died and rose again for us, He defeated all those generational curses and here we are holding on to the curses which have been broken. The expectation Jesus has on us is to walk in the knowledge Jesus overcame those sins. We need to be accountable for our sins and repent rather than making excuses it was our parents or grandparents fault we sinned.

Mathew 3: 13 states:
13Then Jesus arrived from Galilee at the Jordan coming to John, to be baptized by him. 14But John tried to prevent Him, saying, “I have need to be baptized by You, and do You come to me?” 15But Jesus answering said to him, “Permit it at this time; for in this way it is fitting for us to fulfill all righteousness.” Then he permitted Him. 16And after being baptized, Jesus went up immediately from the water; and behold, the heavens were opened, and he saw the Spirit of God descending as a dove, and coming upon Him, 17and behold, a voice out of the heavens, saying, “This is My beloved Son, in whom I am well-pleased.”

God is pleased by all of us when we get baptized.

Shortly after being Baptized Jesus was tempted by Satan. Shortly after Jesus began to preach and say Repent, for the kingdom of heaven is at hand.

The power to overcome generational curses begins with realizing we need to stop blaming and repent. Be accountable in all we do!

If we were born in the likeness and image of God, none of us would be sinners. Thanks to Jesus we can be forgiven sinners! Thank you Jesus!

Driving any vehicle requires using your right foot for both the brake and accelerator pedals. You should never alternate between the right foot for the accelerator and the left foot for the brake. This practice can have negative consequences for your safety and your vehicle. For instance, you may accidentally press the brake pedal with your left foot while accelerating with your right foot, causing unnecessary wear and tear on your brakes. Moreover, your brake lights may flash randomly and confuse other drivers behind you. Another drawback of using both feet for the pedals is that you will have trouble learning how to drive a manual transmission, which requires using your left foot for the clutch.

It's that time of year where we need to slow down a little bit and tend His garden! Time to sow if we want a harvest!

Spring brings us to new life, things turning green, babies of all sorts beginning to show up, and people being cheerful with all the new beginnings!

As we are thinking about what we want to sow, remember we need to sow on good soil, tend the weeds, and make sure these new plants are getting the water of life!

I find myself dwelling on both the physical realm and the spiritual realm and now is the time to sow in both realms!

Hi everyone! Welcome to my blog where I share my insights on various topics Today, I want to talk about something learned while earning my business degree and I think is very relevant for our current times. It's about the different types of people and how they think critically.

You see, not everyone thinks the same way or has the same level of awareness when it comes to evaluating information and making decisions. In fact, there are three main categories of people based on their critical thinking skills:

- The first category is the largest one and it consists of people who are content to buy into the information put in front of them and are easily swayed by those they listen to. They don't question the sources, the motives or the validity of the information they receive. They just accept it as true and act accordingly. These people are often manipulated by the second category of people.

- The second category is smaller but more influential. These people are second level critical thinkers who are adept at convincing the first category to think like they want them to think to fulfill their personal agendas which could be anything from sales and marketing to political agendas. These people are dangerous because they use their critical thinking skills for selfish purposes and not for the common good. They often distort, exaggerate or omit facts to persuade others to their point of view.

- The third category is the smallest but also the most important one. These are people who recognize what the previous categories' agendas are and will call them out for it. They are third level critical thinkers who have a high level of awareness and integrity. They don't just accept or reject information based on their biases or preferences. They analyze it carefully, look for evidence, consider multiple perspectives and seek the truth. They are different in their motivations in that they are always looking out for the good of the whole, which is rarely the agenda of second level critical thinkers.

I hope you can see why this topic is so important and why we need more third level critical thinkers in our society. They are the ones who can help us solve the problems we face and create a better future for everyone. That's why I encourage you to join me in becoming a third level critical thinker and to share your thoughts and opinions with me and others in the comments section below. Let's have a constructive dialogue and learn from each other!
