Kindergarten kicked off the celebrations this morning with their Kindergarten Completion Program. The students sang songs for their families and also received a Certificate of Completion from their teachers. What a fantastic year it has been seeing our little blue jays soar as learners!

It was a day full of celebrations in PreK today! First, we had our PreK Completion Program followed by our PreK Family Fun Day!

Yesterday was our PTO's Field and Fun Day for our students! Students enjoyed doing a craft, visiting the zoo animals, playing carnival games, snacks, face painting, bubbles, chalk, dancing and an obstacle course (while the weather was nice). The weather threw a curve into the afternoon plans but everyone had a fun filled day. Thanks to all of the PTO Volunteers, as well as the high school students, who helped make this day such a success! Here are some photos from Mrs. McGowan's Kindergarten class. Thanks to Ms. Hott and her quick thinking when it rained and they couldn't be outside at the obstacle course. She organized egg/spoon relay races, as well as scooter races! Nothing but giggles and smiles for the Kindergarteners!

IMPORTANT NOTICE!!!!

Conemaugh Valley Elementary will operate on a FID tomorrow, Thursday, May 21st as we investigate a building issue. The high school will remain in normal operations.

Room 125 grew by 4 feet and 2 beaks and lots of chirping on Monday as it was their turn to “chick sit” for the day. A huge thank you to Ms. Thomas who not only shares the egg to chick process with the 5th and 6th grade students but then gives the younger grade levels the opportunity to chick sit for a day. 💛🐥🐥💛

Summer Feeding Meal Pick Up info-
While last summer we were blessed to feed about 1,000 children a week, we will not be serving to that capacity this summer.
