During this Month of Ramadan: The Holy Qur'an is naturally the Book of the Month:
The practice of reading the 30th part (Juz' Amma) of the Holy Quran throughout the month of Ramadan is rooted in the significance of the Quran's revelation during this sacred month. It serves as a way to engage with the Quran daily, strengthen spiritual connection, and increase understanding.
1. Structure of the Quran and Juz' Amma
The Quran is divided into 30 equal sections (Juz’), allowing for easy daily reading.
The 30th Juz’ (Juz' Amma) is the last section, containing short but powerful surahs, many of which focus on foundational aspects of faith, the afterlife, and personal accountability.
2. Why Read Juz' Amma During Ramadan?
Ease of Recitation: Since the chapters are shorter, they are accessible to those who may struggle with longer portions of the Quran.
Emphasis on Reflection: The surahs contain themes of Tawheed (Oneness of Allah), the Hereafter, and moral responsibility.
Increased Rewards:
Reading any portion of the Quran during Ramadan multiplies rewards, as it is the month when the Quran was revealed (Surah Al-Baqarah 2:185).
Strengthening Memorization: Many people begin their Quranic memorization with Juz' Amma due to its brevity and profound meanings.
3. How to Incorporate it into Ramadan?
Daily Recitation: Read one surah from Juz' Amma each day, reflecting on its meaning.
Taraweeh & Salah: Many Imams recite surahs from this Juz' during Taraweeh prayers.
Tafsir Study: Study the meanings and context of the surahs to deepen understanding.
Family & Community Engagement: Reciting together with family members or in study circles enhances the experience.
This method of reading Juz' Amma throughout Ramadan is beneficial for both beginners and advanced learners, helping to maintain consistency in Quranic engagement while embracing the blessings of the month.

With the Help of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful.
As salaam alaikum.
Fact: Being a Muslim Encompasses all faiths.
"How are you Muslim, but accepting jahiliyyah as a lifestyle?"
it's essential first to understand the term jahiliyyah.
Jahiliyyah is an Arabic word that translates to "ignorance" or "the state of ignorance."
In the Islamic context, it specifically refers to the period before the revelation of the Quran, when people lived without the guidance of Islam.
This era is often characterized by practices and beliefs that go against Islamic teachings.
So, the question is asking how someone can claim to be Muslim—following the teachings of Islam—while simultaneously living in a way that aligns with ignorance or un-Islamic practices.
It challenges the idea of maintaining a Muslim identity while accepting or engaging in behaviors and beliefs that are contrary to the principles of Islam.
The question is meant to provoke thought about the consistency between one's faith and actions, encouraging a reflection on whether one's lifestyle truly reflects Islamic values or if it is influenced by un-Islamic traditions and habits.

My Political Platform:
Imagine a bird soaring high in the sky, representing the American descendants of slavery (ADOS) also known as, Negro, African American, and Colored People, Blacks.
This bird has two wings, each crucial for maintaining its balance and direction: the left wing symbolizes the Democratic Party, and the right-wing represents the Republican Party.
Without one wing, the bird cannot fly; it will spiral downwards, losing its ability to navigate and progress.
Just as the bird relies on both wings to achieve lift and sustain flight, ADOS must engage with both political parties to be politically relevant in the United States.
The left-wing, with its focus on social justice and progressive reforms, provides the bird with the power to push forward, advocating for equality and systemic change.
The right-wing, emphasizing economic freedom and conservative values, offers the strength to maintain stability and traditional foundations.
Only by working in concert, with each wing contributing its unique force, can the bird ascend to new heights.
In the same way, ADOS needs to interact with and influence both political spectrums, ensuring that their voices are heard and their needs are addressed from all angles.
This balanced engagement empowers the community to soar, navigate political landscapes, and achieve meaningful progress in their fight for justice and equality.
Now you know!

In politics, electing candidates is like choosing a mirror that reflects your values and priorities.
Just as we instinctively look for our image first in a photograph, we seek candidates who most closely represent our beliefs, needs, and aspirations, ensuring they will act in ways that benefit us and our communities.
Who speaks up for you concerning potential candidates?
Political Action Committees, or PACs, are like groups of people who help choose leaders who will do good things for us.
Imagine you and your friends picking someone to be in charge of your playtime.
PACs help to pick grown-ups who will make rules and decisions that make life better for everyone, just like how you want the best person in charge of your games.
The NAACP Branch 2266 in Johnstown, PA, has actively engaged in various community activities, such as hosting the annual Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. celebration and organizing "Day of Action" events aimed at community engagement and advocacy.
However, there are no specific records indicating when the last Political Action Committee (PAC) event was held by this branch.
For more detailed and current information, you can contact the branch directly or visit https://pastatenaacp.org/j-k/
In Cambria County, including Johnstown, Pennsylvania, identifying candidates who have done specific work for the African American community requires a closer look at their actions and policies.
Frank Burns:
As a long-serving state legislator, Frank Burns has worked on several initiatives for economic development and job creation, which indirectly benefit the African American community.
His advocacy for tax breaks for working families and his efforts to keep businesses open during the pandemic are examples of his work that can support economic stability for all residents, including African Americans (DLCC). However, specific initiatives targeting the African American community in Johnstown were not highlighted in available sources. https://dlcc.org/candidates/frank-burns/
Thomas C. Chernisky:
Serving multiple terms as a Cambria County Commissioner, Chernisky has been involved in various community and economic development projects.
His role in community health and safety initiatives, as well as his involvement with the Cambria County Drug Coalition, shows his commitment to addressing issues that disproportionately affect African American communities, such as substance abuse and public health (Cambria County, PA).
While his contributions are significant, there are no specific records of targeted programs exclusively for African Americans in Johnstown.
Amy Bradley:
While Amy Bradley's professional background and her role as a candidate show community involvement, there is no specific evidence or record of her addressing issues uniquely affecting the African American community in Johnstown (Vote | WPSU). https://vote.wpsu.org/candidates/383/
