NEEA offers dual language programs year-round for children, six weeks to 6 years, incorporating Spanish immersion and learning through play in a warm, family-centered environment. New Era Enrichment Academy is an early learning educational facility open year round that promotes foreign language immersion and exploration learning throughout all of its programs. We stand apart from other day cares a
nd other early childhood development programs because of our unique offerings including:
*Foreign Language Immersion for all children beginning as young as 6 weeks old,
with instruction provided in English and in the foreign language
*Exposure to languages and cultures through: activities, games, music, books,
and the use of state of the art technology
*Integration of natural exploration with structured instruction in a positive
environment which will, in the long run, allow children to become more self-
confident, bi-lingual, bi-literate, and bi-cultural
*A multi-faceted curriculum that incorporates the use of the latest technologies
including Apple iPad Learning Tablets
New Era Enrichment Academy aligns its curriculum to meet and in some cases exceed all of the standards and approaches that create a stimulating foundation for our children and provides opportunities for successful development socially, emotionally, cognitively, linguistically, and physically. These standards are set forth by the Rhode Island Early Leaning and Development Standards, the Department of Child, Youth, and Families, BrightStars, and the American Council on the Teaching of Foreign Languages. At NEEA, we value each child’s uniqueness and recognize that each child develops at different rates. All New Era Enrichment Academy programs follow a daily schedule filled with exciting activities (i.g. Celebrations of holidays, cultural events, and presentations enrich our foreign language immersion curriculum. Outdoor play, physical activity, and exploration are always part of the excitement. All Staff and Faculty members hold all necessary certifications and trainings for their respective positions and are in compliance with all DCYF and BrightStars standards. Teachers are fully bilingual and highly qualified. All employees have passed criminal background checks. Teachers are required to attend professional development seminars/classes and will have scheduled and unscheduled evaluations annually.
