Johnston Community School Foundation

We’ve had such an amazing week seeing these grant dollars in action with our Johnston Community School teachers and students! 💜

Not only did we get to do the official “big check” presentation and take fun photos, but these visits also allow our board to hear from the teachers about the impact the support has made - time savings, student collaboration and increased learning were all similar themes we heard from each teacher. These are all ways JCSF is grateful to step in to support our schools when needed. 💜

💜 Congratulations to the JHS Class of 2026 who were recognized with scholarships, awards and cords recently during Senior Night. 💛 The Johnston Community School Foundation was especially proud to have these seniors recognized:

🎓 Carter Martin as the 2026 recipient of the Raymond and Marie Schlenker Scholarship ($10,000)
🎓 Jaelyn Davenport, Evan Hill, Landon Tari as recipients of the $1,500 Ken and Rosie Jarvis Scholarship.

A big CONGRATULATIONS to Carter Martin on receiving the 2026 Raymond and Marie Schlenker Scholarship. 💜 This is a $10,000 scholarship the Johnston Community School Foundation awards to one JHS senior each year. 🎓
