You know that friend who needs to be in this room? Now you can just... invite her.

The Invite Her feature on our MWC Events page makes it easy to bring the women in your life into the conversation, because money conversations get better when we're not having them alone. Sharing what you know, who you know, and where you found your people? That's how this movement grows.

Who's coming to mind right now? Tag her below.

Meet your panelists for After Hours: Expect the Best, Plan for the Rest!

We're bringing together four women who know what it means to plan for what's next and we're doing it in one of the best views in Fayetteville!

Kate Verkamp moderates a discussion with guest panelists Dr. Takama Statton-Brooks, Lisa Brown, and Mary Schneider.

Join us at Mt. Sequoyah on August 27 (4:30–6:30pm) for real conversation about the planning most of us put off.

Talking about money is statistically harder for women than talking about almost anything else. 53% of Gen Z women say they avoid the conversation because they're afraid of being judged. Talking about what happens if something goes wrong is even harder.

That silence is exactly what After Hours is built to break. 93% of women say they're confident that they can keep growing their savings this year. The other side of confidence is having a plan for the parts you can't control.

Aug 27. Bring the friend who's been putting this off too.

Nobody wants to think about the unexpected. Job loss, a diagnosis, the call that changes everything. But the women who've actually planned for it are the ones who get through it with their footing intact.

That's what After Hours is for. One evening with real conversation and no fear-mongering, leaving you with the practical, legal, and emotional groundwork that makes "the rest" survivable. Wherever you are in your money journey, there's a seat for you here.

Some of the best money conversations don't happen in a conference room, they happen after hours, with women who get it.

MWC After Hours 2026 is back, and we're honored to welcome Dr. Takama Statton-Brooks to our panel of guests.

Dr. Statton-Brooks is the Executive Director of Magdalene Serenity House, with a career built on advocacy, from crisis response and sexual violence education to leadership development and trauma-informed practice. She's spent years translating complex policy into real, compassionate support for the people who need it most. Outside of that work, she's a mom of two, a storyteller, and someone who still finds joy in making things with her hands.

That's the range we bring to this room: expertise and heart, in the same conversation.

69% of women say they are the primary decision-maker for their household's investments. That's a remarkable shift from just a decade ago.

But making financial decisions doesn't always mean feeling confident making them.

That's why financial literacy matters.

At Money Women Collective, we're creating a space where women can ask questions, learn without judgment, and leave feeling more confident about every financial decision ahead.

Join us November 4 as we explore this year's theme, Having It All, and discover how financial confidence can create more choices, more freedom, and more opportunities.
