TinyHome Vermont has made a grammy appearance in a recent video on our little homestead here in the city. Showing that even small things can create big ripples in the pond. Winter is in full force here and the temperatures are fridged and the snow is deep.

Making way for new projects to begin, older projects to be completed and a wonderous imagination of what's to come.

We've been busy in the tiny realms recently. With a bit of pause on the OG TinyHome Vermont. Things will be shifting soon though, moving into the winter months. This tiny shown below found its new home with a beautiful mountain view and a happy client.

It is currently undertaking some serious changes with Regenerative Retrofits LLC. As doors are being moved, doors are being added. Walls are being removed and decks are soon to be built! Turning the whole place around and installing a water tank for some deep winter storage capabilities. Stay tuned for the transformation!

Come gather on the land for a hands-on immersion into the art of natural building. Together, we will co-create a wood-fired sauna using traditional and regenerative techniques—rammed earth walls, a living green roof, and plenty of embodied learning.
Led by Brenden McBrier of RegenerativeRetrofits.design, this offering is for anyone who wants to deepen their connection to the Earth through building, sweat, story, and skill-sharing. Whether you're new to natural construction or looking to refine your craft, there’s a place for you.

Tiny Tuesday Updates...It might not look like a whole lot. Yet after many years of having what would be considered an unfinished interior wall with exposed wool insulation, I started finish it. I had to remove all my art to complete the task which was a big step in itself. Then shopped the Joannes going out of business sales for some of the last fabric in stock, really sad to see that business go. I landed on a thin black material to line the walls with an easy application of a staple gun. Will be covering the ceiling with a different material soon as well. This keeps the soft nature of the walls and allows for proper breathability of the wool.

Then I used some left over timber I bought from a local lumbermill that had an actual fire sale of a building that burned to the ground. I found some large pieces of wood I used both as exterior siding and for the top shelf along this wall. The bottom shelf is Wenge wood which is imported from South Africa and has a beautiful natural dark complexion. Stay tuned for more updates!

On this Tiny Tuesday's...the black vultures have found a resting ground upon my Tiny Home. They have also found their way inside and started tearing out thee ole wool insulation and fixing the faulty electrical wiring. Seems as though TinyHome Vermont has a new mascot as spring is finally here, kind of. At least small signs of the spring to come.

I am very excited to share with you all next Tuesday what I've been working on inside this special little home of mine. The great room has taken a big turn these past few weeks and it's the slow motivation for me to continue chipping away at the projects this year. Let's hope I can wire everything up the correct way this time as I don't want the birds coming back again...April Fools!

TinyHome Vermont 2025!

Very excited for the first post of the year, and to be ruffling up the wool insulation and cedar shingles of this tiny home in this lunar new year. Welcoming in the first couple days of dusting off thee ole stagnant project energy that was left in the cold of last year's move. Beginning anew and starting back up with renovations and alchemy that I first created 4years ago now.

Living in the Tiny for 3years after a 6-Month span of building. Construction on the interior mostly came to a halt. I did some exterior finishes with the cedar shakes, repurposed metal siding, the additional skylight and the roof deck over the years. Now it's time to batten down the hatches and get this thing ready for any and all to visit and stay.

First step...boxing up and breaking down the decorations and interior designs and refilling the cavities of .life.insulation that have settled after multiple moves and unfinished wall covering. Looking forward to seeing this entry way and great room be completed!

Winter is Here ❄️

Tiny Home Vermont is nestling in for the colder months ahead...the home has been collecting dust over the year of 2024 to be honest. From a full time living structure to a storage unit awaiting a renovation. It's been a huge change of pace for this cozy temple after 3years in the thick woods of Northern Vermont.

Moving the TinyHome to the city was like a turtle on a journey. Slowly getting all its belongings tucked into the shell, not sure how everything would land. I think everything is starting to catch up finally and energy is soon to begin. First step is installing the wood stove again, so any indoor projects can be accompanied by a warm crackling fire.

Dreaming in all the things to complete this home for the spring/summer of 2025. To be used as a rental space of those looking for retreat, friends looking to stay the night, and family wanted to visit. My large investment into building the space will take a new shape and invite in abundance and aspirations to all whom step inside.

Stay Tuned for Tiny Tuesday to Begin Again!

Its Spring! Well...Almost!

Welcoming in the slow shifts of the season from winter to spring. As the days are growing much longer and the winters blanket slowly melts away. The foliage and flowers are starting to push through here in Northern Vermont. This is one of the last photo taken of the Tiny before the melt began. It is with upmost excitement to announce the move date for TinyHome Vermont!

About one month from now, we will be packing up this little home. Taking the paintings off the walls and lifting up our landing gear to set sail to a new destination. Moving from the woods in Northern, Vermont...to slightly warm climates known as the banana belt of West Central VT, South Burlington. This move brings many new opportunities and challenges, going from a very natural environment to a very city skyscape.

Stay tuned for photos from the upcoming move!

Today Marks The Day, Of A Truely Monumental Shift In My Life.

Really happy to be sharing my first printed article, highlighting my recent Greenhouse build in Vermont. Very lucky to have it be listed online for viewing too, for those not able to pick up a copy locally. I am feeling incredibly grateful and honored to be showcased on the cover of a publishing I've been following for years. Next to truly inspiring companies doing some amazing sustainable building.

I've been working toward this for a long time. Studying, volunteering, helping homeowner builders and communities across the world. All while learning all different building techniques. Now I am using that knowledge here at home, helping to teaching others. Bringing the ways of growing food locally in harsh environments for our health and resiliency as humans, for protection of our Earth.
