Are you looking for more than just a job? 🤔 At Crossroads Kids Connection, you’ll find a team that feels like family, a purpose-filled environment, and the opportunity to make a difference in the lives of little ones every single day! 🥰

As a Christian childcare center, we keep Jesus and His Word at the heart of what we do. ✝️ We believe in loving Jesus, loving people, and meeting needs—and that starts with how we care for our kiddos and support one another as a team. ❤️🙏

🕕 IMPORTANT SCHEDULING REQUIREMENT: Applicants must have availability to work until 6:00pm. Our kiddos need caring teachers through the end of the day!

If you love working with children, enjoy being part of a supportive team, and want your work to make a meaningful difference, we’d love to hear from you! 💕

🎉 “AND YOU GET A GIFT CARD! AND YOU GET A GIFT CARD!” 🎁 Earlier this week, our amazing PTO team surprised our teachers at our staff meeting with their very own OPRAH MOMENT! 😂💜 Every teacher received an Amazon gift card to put toward things they’ve been wanting for their classrooms! 🛒📦

From classroom supplies to fun learning materials, these gifts will help our teachers continue creating engaging, welcoming spaces for our CKC kiddos to learn and grow. 🥰📚

A huge THANK-YOU to our incredible PTO team! ❤️ Your generosity, thoughtfulness, and continued support mean so much to our staff. Thank you for pouring into the people who pour so much into our kiddos every day! 💜💛

At CKC, it truly takes a family - and we’re so thankful for ours! 🫶

Nothing says SPOOKY SEASON like matching skelly jammies! 🖤💀 Matching pajamas, big smiles, and a whole lot of friendship - we just can’t handle the cuteness! It’s moments like these that make our CKC days so special! 🥰🎃

One of the sweetest parts of growing up at CKC is the friendships our kiddos build along the way. ❤️ They’re not just classmates sharing a room - they’re little friends making memories, sharing giggles, and becoming part of our CKC family! 💜💛

We’re soaking up all the spooky-season fun and all the little moments that make childhood magical! 👻🍂

🎃 BOO BASH HAS A NEW DATE!

Well, Mother Nature had other plans for us this week, so we're moving the Halloween fun to Thursday, October 29, from 4–7 PM!

We're giving everyone a little extra time to make their way around downtown Jefferson, show off those costumes, and collect some treats from our participating businesses and organizations!

A huge thank-you to all of our participating businesses and organizations for being so flexible with us.

Help us spread the word by sharing this post so nobody shows up on the wrong Thursday!

We are loving this fall season at CKC, and last week was ALL about PUMPKINS! 🧡 There are SO many fun activities do with a pumpkin, and our kiddos kept busy exploring, experimenting, learning, and playing all week long! From making pumpkin pie in a cup to pumpkin bowling🎳, we had a bushel of fall fun last week!

❤️ Our Bible story of the week was the Pumpkin Parable! 🎃 We learned how carving a pumpkin can remind us of what God does in our hearts. Just as we clean out a pumpkin to make room for a light, we can ask God to help us remove unkindness, selfishness, and other things that keep us from showing His love. When we let Jesus work in our hearts, His love shines through us for others to see! ✨

What a wonderful reminder that God is always working in us and helping us grow! 🌱🙏

We’re soaking up every bit of this pumpkin-spiced season at CKC! 🎃🍁

The One’s Room is **ALL IN** on this Wacky Wednesday! 😂🧡💛

Who needs to wear silly glasses when you can wear a **CUP ON YOUR FOREHEAD?!** 🤣 We think Mrs. Lara and our One’s friend have officially mastered Wacky Wednesday! 👩‍🏫🤪💕

What a fun way to add a little silliness to our Wednesday! 🎉

Yesterday was World Teachers’ Day, so of course we had to celebrate one of the things every teacher needs to function… COFFEE! 😂☕❤️

Our CKC teachers spend their days pouring so much love, patience, energy, and encouragement into our kiddos. So it only seems fair that we help keep their coffee cups full! 😉☕

Because some days we’re running on Jesus, coffee, and a whole lot of grace! 🙏☕✝️

Happy belated World Teachers’ Day to all the amazing teachers who show up, love big, and make a difference every single day! 🍎✨

We ended September last week by talking all about APPLES! 🍎🍂 Our kiddos had a bushel of fun learning through hands-on activities! We rolled apples, discovered the different parts of an apple, talked about the life cycle of an apple tree, and counted apple seeds. We even made our own apple stamps and, of course, had LOTS of apple taste tests! 😋🍎

❤️ Our Bible story for the week was the Fruit of the Spirit! We talked about how just like an apple tree produces fruit, our lives should produce good fruit too! When we allow God to work in our hearts, we can show love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control to the people around us. 🌱💜

🐮💜 COMING SOON: Our CKC Adopt-a-Cow Adventure! 💜🐮

We are SO excited that this will be our 6th year participating in Discover Dairy's Adopt-a-Cow Program! 🎉 Sponsored by Dairy Farmers of Wisconsin, this year-long experience gives our kiddos an exciting, hands-on look at life on a dairy farm! 🐄🌾

Throughout the year, we’ll be paired with a heifer calf and get to learn all about her—her name, birthday, breed, where she lives, what she eats, and how her farmer cares for her. 👩‍🌾❤️ We’ll follow along with updates from her dairy farmer and share her story with our CKC family!

Be sure to check out our Farm-to-ECE bulletin board in the hallway to follow along with all of our Adopt-a-Cow updates throughout the year! 🐮📋

Last year, we adopted a Holstein calf named Tropicana! 🐄💛

🤔 What breed do you think our calf will be this year?! Drop your guess in the comments! 👇🐮
