YoungLife Capernaum are always welcome visitors at school. On Friday, they greeted students at drop off with the question, “Is a hotdog a sandwich?” Students had fun answering and were very passionate about their responses!! Friday also saw a visit from our favorite 4-legged friend, Chewie. He played in the yard and was a calming presence in class. Thank you Ms.Jenn!

Friday clubs are back in full swing! Cookie decorating, Pokémon, drama, Lego, podcasting, Beyblades, art/craft, board games and a soon to begin military club. Students make their choice and mix with other students from across the school, which is great for making connections and forming new friendships.

At Jeremiah School we believe homework should be meaningful, productive, and not a cause of stress for our students or parents. Our Lacy St. students get a homework bingo card each month, which they gradually complete. The tasks include life skills, academics, and activities encouraging independence and executive functioning. This is homework that has a real purpose, and gives students choice and ownership. 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
