Meet Dr. Atkins, an Associate Professor of Marketing and Merchandising. 🎓

Her research asks a simple question with a complicated answer: what actually makes a shopping trip feel “smart”? Time, money, effort? Usually, all three!

She’s also hosted international students through ETSU’s International Friends Program, welcoming Bucs from South Korea, Japan, China, Nigeria and India. 💙💛

Dr. Atkins is a great example of a professor who invests in students both inside and outside the classroom!

The Historic Ashe Street Courthouse has seen a lot over the years, last week we added our chapter!🏦💙

It was so special to see so many familiar faces and new connections being made. From cross-department conversations to old friends reuniting, the Open House was a great way to celebrate our new home and wrap up the 2026 Spring Semester!
