I built this monstrosity about eight months ago just kept adding to it. It’s a awesome workout station.
It’s been a couple years since I’ve been active on my page for Parkinson’s. I’ve had some symptoms pop up that I have to continue to fight like dragging my feet and that caused a lot of foot problems and rigidity is still an issue but when I’m leaving, I feel good Having my third hip replacement done a couple years ago sent me back a good bit and I’m feeling good, not necessarily kicking, but boxing in and lifting some weights and trying to drop some pounds I hope to hear from you all. Send a quick message. If you can let me know you’re still out there and I’m still continuing to Fight

Today in our kids class, I had a young lady ask me why I was able to do use my arm in Taekwondo and boxing, if I have Parkinson’s. She had never seen my tremor when teaching a move or instructing. I explained that, my tremor is a resting tremor, and when my arm is in motion, I am able to control that. When it’s still for a bit, it starts to shake. I also explained how I’m able to control it more by keeping my hands on my hips or clasping them together. I want everyone to know how much I appreciate when your kids ask me questions. I would rather them ask than wonder, and encourage them to bring it up any time. I am very open about my Parkinson’s, and believe that keeps me teaching. I want everyone to understand and feel comfortable talking about it in our school, it will never bother me to answer questions. I appreciate everyone’s continued support!
