We’re returning to TOMORROW for our 2nd Annual Small Schools Fair!! Pics from last year’s fair shared here to give you a feel for this special event. ☺️

Kindly note that is located at 8601 S. 1st Street.

Yep, you have it right! They are a church.

And, nope, we will not be in the church. We will be in the hall, the big white tent-like structure that is home to just to your right as you head down the driveway to the parking lot!

The space is beautiful and unique, much like our group. 😉

And we are SO grateful to for allowing us to use the space to share our offerings with the community. 🫶🏽

This is what community looks like here, and a large part of why we love calling south Austin our home.

And I love that upRising identifies as a church without walls, on account of some of our programs identify as classrooms without walls!

Not sure what that means or curious what it looks like when eighteen different schools gather in a tent-like structure?

These books are some of my ABSOLUTE favorites for young children, and I’m so grateful that Eve will be available to share these treasures with our community. 🥰

As we’re gearing up for our 2nd Annual Small Schools Fair on Saturday, February 21st, I’m thrilled to give a shout out to the fabulous mother-daughter duo based here in Austin. 👯

will be sharing their small-batch, ooey-gooey NY-style cookies, made fresh daily and baked with LOVE with all of our small school providers at this year’s fair, and we’re so excited! 🥳

THANK YOU ! We’re so grateful to share these treats with our Small Schools community and, as always, we’re happy to support a fellow small business owner. 😉

If you’re not a small school owner, no problem. You can still visit and order cookies for yourself. Try the guava or the orange chocolate. You can thank me later. 😉

Hi all. Some of you have asked, so here you go! I created a Google list with this year's Small Schools Fair participating schools. Fancy, I know! With this link, you can see most of our participating school locations at a glance.

Do your research and make sure you show up to the fair with a list of schools you want to visit! BUT, I highly recommend visiting others as well, you never know where you'll find the just right school. 😉

Kindly note that the fair itself will take place at 8601 S. 1st Street / the large hall at upRising Austin. ALL participating schools will be there showcasing their offerings.

This Google list is simply for anyone wanting to check out our school locations at a glance. A few are not listed as they prefer to share their location after inquiry.

Great news Austin families! There’s so much school love in our community, there’s not only one, but TWO school fairs in the coming weeks!

This weekend, on Saturday, February 14th, will be hosting their annual Festival of Learning event showcasing some unusual schools and educational programs with hands on activities for all ages at the beautiful Branch Park Pavilion in Mueller from 10-1!

The following weekend, will be hosting its own Small Schools Fair on Saturday, February 21st from 9-noon at upRising Austin, showcasing eighteen hidden gems in the south Austin community, serving a range of ages from infants to adolescents.

Both events are FREE and FAMILY-FRIENDLY! Bring your kiddos and learn more about the diverse learning options in your community! 🥳
