Six Rivers Media once again will host college students from the Tri-Cities area at their annual Six Rivers Media College Media Day.

The annual event aims to introduce students to careers in modern journalism and local print media. Students will participate in breakout sessions that focus on beat reporting, first-job preparation, photography, public records requests, and page design, followed by interactive mock press conferences and AP Style contests.

Dr. Stephen Marshall will be introducing his film, Armadillo Man: The Trips of Jim Franklin, at Austin PBS’s Studio A tonight!

This documentary explores the life and legacy of the famed artist who helped make Austin “weird.”

Dr. Marshall served as an executive producer for the film, and runs the Armadillo World Headquarters brand.
