August was scholarship!
Continuing strong with Zoom bringing us together for our events.

Justin put together a fantastic game of Jeopardy.
All who participated really enjoyed this time together. Thank you for your hard work organizing and making the game!

Covid and social distancing can’t keep us down! We are still going strong with our events.

June was Service month for us. Becca, one of our amazing members, worked hard to come up with a way for us to make an impact focusing on some current social issues in our nation.

July was our Founding month. We normally would have had a retreat for this however we had to adjust this year. The E-board planned a virtual camping trip. Thanks for the awesome idea Tasha! We met on zoom. We had camp themed backgrounds, played three games, heard a spooky story, and made s’mores. I believe we all enjoyed the time we spent together even though it wasn’t in person.

May’s event was for Scholarship!
Several of our SAAC members had a Netflix Viewing party where they watched an episode of a docuseries. The episode was called “7 Days Out” and followed some horses that participate in the Kentucky Derby. Our members dressed up and tried traditional Kentucky Derby food. We have a shareable list of the food/drink recipes if anyone is interested! Thanks for planning this event Jillian!

These have been difficult times for all, especially those of us who thrive when in the presence of friends. So, to make the best of the situation we are all currently living in.. We decided to have our April social event online! It was so good to be able to talk and laugh with a few brothers!

Today, our fearless leader Victoria held a chapter meeting online. We were able to discuss what was needed as well as have some conversations with brothers who missed out in April.

On Saturday, SAAC celebrated Pi Day by having a scholarship event dedicated to pie!

Becca made her special pot pie for us. Then we all learned how to make two different types of mini dessert pies.
