A kindergarten teacher at Harpeth Valley Elementary School in Nashville, TN, Kaci Olinger earned a BS in Early Childhood Development and an MS in Curriculum & Instruction. She always knew she wanted to work with younger children, so she chose a degree that would help her learn the best way to teach them. Dr. Katherine Sharp, a professor in the PreK-3 program was her favorite due to the way she encouraged her along the way. In addition to teaching kindergarten, Olinger also mentors 5th graders and coaches them for Quiz Bowl. In her leisure time, Kaci enjoys reading and kayaking.
