Hey Bucs!! Today we are kicking off our 21 Day Challenge 🎉
Each weekday through October 18, participants will complete daily tasks that challenge them to dive deeper into antiracism, white privilege, representation, and activism. In addition to working through the daily challenges, registrants will also journal their thoughts throughout the process for a debrief session at the completion of the 21 days.

Get to know Adam Derrick of the ETSU Pride Center. We look forward to opportunities to partner with them and the Center this upcoming academic year.
Student Spotlight ✨ Meet Adam Derrick. After finishing an undergraduate degree at another university, he wasn’t quite sure what they wanted to do next. It was at this crossroad that Adam “stumbled” into the AmeriCorps program.
And from there, the future suddenly became clear.
With a dream of working in the non-profit sector, the human services program offered by the Clemmer College at East Tennessee State University was a natural fit.
In addition to being accepted into the graduate program, Adam learned their graduate assistantship assignment would be in the new ETSU Pride Center.
Adam said the Robertson Pride Center is a critical connection point with other campus organizations, such as SAGA (Sexuality and Gender Alliance), the ETSU Faculty/Staff LGBTQ+ Association, and the Mary V. Jordan Multicultural Center, as well as TriPride, the Pride Education Center, PFLAG and other community groups.
