Many congratulations to Desiree Raynor for graduating with a Graduate Certificate in Healthcare Spanish!! 🎉🎉🎉🎉

Desiree is a nurse practitioner in Kingsport who regularly treats Spanish-speaking patients. We are so proud of her growth over the last year and a half!

Translated: “The most valuable lesson I learned is that language is only one part of communication; empathy, cultural awareness, and a willingness to listen are equally important. The immersive elective [in the graduate certificate] taught me to treat every interaction with humility and openness, especially when treating patients with origins that are different from my own.”

¡Buena suerte Desiree!
