Aerial Storytelling
This workshop will include creative exploration of what makes a good story translate into the air, creative expression exercises, and storytelling sequencing and choreography on silks and trapeze by Gracie and Laurel. Pre-reqs: At least 10 classes on either trapeze or silks. Please note: this is a 90-minute class.

Ashley Browning

Ashley began her aerial training in 2021 at Night Owl Circus Arts and is excited to start teaching where creativity, curiosity, and a little bit of magic meet. She loves helping students build strength, confidence, and joy through intentional movement on the ground and in the air! In 2023, she had the privilege to continue training at NOCA through the duration of her pregnancy with her daughter until 7 months gestation and has a unique perspective as an aerialist with a rapidly changing body. She believes that circus arts are meant for anyone who desires to discover the magic within themselves at this welcoming studio.

Description: This class will break down the process of a flare on lyra as well as open up a variety of pathways that start with a flare! Pre-reqs: Comfortable with spinning and pull-ups.

Twists, Tangles, Some Ropes, and a Bar

This is your invitation to hang out with (guest instructor Zoe!)and explore the space above the bar. This intermediate/advanced trapeze class will focus on integrating ropes and bar-based skills into cohesive sequences. We’ll explore twisting mechanics, tangled wraps, rope-based variations, and creative use of the bar to build a fluid trapeze sequence. This is a class for aerialists who enjoy puzzles, precision, and the satisfying logic of finding your way through twists and tangles—ending exactly where you meant to.

Bippity Boppity Belay

Step into the magic of controlled flight in Bippity Boppity Belay, an intermediate / advanced aerial silks class dedicated to unique entrances into belays and the even more fun pops and drops out of them! This class will dive into creative pathways into and out of belays with a focus on comfortability and technique while prioritizing safety, understanding, and awareness. Students will explore a variety of advanced belay drops, transitions, and sequencing options. All progressions tailored to the individual's skill level. Come turn nerves into magic and make gravity say ta-da.

Welcome to Night Owl Circus, Zoe!

Come to Everything Back Balance this Sunday, December 7th, 4:15-5:15pm with circus artist @

Get more comfortable and confident in your back balance! We will start with a full body warm up with emphasis on abs, upper back mobility, and glute engagement. We will explore different entries and exits to back balance, various back balance placements, and how to move between placements with engagement and control. Students should be able to hold a hands-free low-back balance for at least 5 seconds. Practice with mid-back balance encouraged but not required

- $85 for a semi private, one hour session (sign up with a friend or we can partner you with someone)
- we provide a black backdrop & an apparatus (or two!) of your choice
- a coach will be present for any help if you need it and to give you ideas to get the perfect mix of shots
- only SIX spots available, so sign-up fast!
